Engravers Aluminum:
Engravers Sheet Aluminum is .025" (.6mm) thick and can
be custom cut to your rectangular size with a 12" x 24"
max (30cm x 61cm). Corners can be Square, Notched In or
Rounded and it can be supplied with Double Back Tape,
Holes for mounting and Screws (Goldtone or Silvertone).
Aluminum does not engrave as cleanly as brass or steel
due to softness of metal. Most commonly used as a
"backer", by cutting a contrasting color slightly larger
than the engraved brass or steel piece and mounting the
aluminum piece behind the brass/steel, creating a frame
of color around the engraved brass or plastic piece.
